Game Recap

The Hoover boys soccer team won the Platinum division of the 2016 Lakeshore Shootout. Hoover went 3-0-1 in the tournament. Hoover defeated Homewood 1-0, Smith’s Station 3-1, Prattville 2-0 and tied Oak Mountain 1-1. Jared Walker scored 2 goals in the tournament also scoring for Hoover Kyle Tedford, Alex Tovar, Cole Williams, Justin Parra, and Ibrahim Hamid. Assisting on goals Dalton Nelson, Kyle Tedford, Jared Walker Cole Cousineau. Dalton Nelson was in goal for the shutout against Homewood and Hayden Cousineau was in goal for the shutout against Prattville. Lake Williams was selected on the all tournament team and Daniel Lowell was the tournament MVP. The Hoover record now stands at 4-0-1.
