Hoover Buccaneers Freshman Falls In Back-And-Forth Affair Against Vestavia Hills

Hoover Buccaneers Freshman and Vestavia Hills played a tight game, but Vestavia Hills pulled out the 6-5 victory on Thursday. The game was tied at five with Vestavia Hills batting in the bottom of the sixth when Vestavia hit a sacrifice fly to drive in a run.
Hoover Buccaneers Freshman took an early lead in the first inning.
In the top of the fifth inning, Hoover Buccaneers Freshman tied things up at five. Hoover Buccaneers Freshman scored one run when Brendan Murphy singled with two outs in the fifth inning.
Colson Lawrence, Cody Crain, Murphy, and Jonathan Skurstenis each drove in one run to lead Hoover Buccaneers Freshman. Robby Ashford led Hoover Buccaneers Freshman with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.
