Meet Recap

In a very competitive match, the Hoover girls tennis team beat Northridge 5-4. After Sarah Corrine Holditch tied the match 4-4 with an 8-4 win at #3 singles, it all came down to a nail-biter at #2 singles. Kennedy Ward took her opponent to an 8-8 tiebreaker and then won the tiebreak 8-6 to secure the team victory. Angie Morales played perhaps her best match of the season in an 8-2 victory over a very talented #1 singles opponent. Julia Keffer won #4 singles 8-1 and the #3 doubles team of Lindsey Fehr and Reagan Moore won 8-6. Hoover’s boys and girls play at Briarwood Thursday.
