Hoover hosted Tuscaloosa County in a key 7A area 5 game tonight.  The score was 0-0 at the half with HHS missing several good scoring opportunities in the first half.  The Bucs opened up the scoring early in the second half on a goal by Kyla Shaw off a corner kick by Jilian Joyner.  Gabby Walker and Mackenzee Smith both scored unassisted goals off TC rebounds.  Jilian Joyner scored the game’s final goal off the assist from Kyla Shaw.  Elena Register had zero saves and recorded her sixth shutout of the year.  Hoover improves to 9-5 overall and 3-1 in area play.

The Bucs travel to Savannah, GA for two games this weekend.
