Meet Recap

The Hoover Boys Golf Team finished 3rd in the sectional tournament today at Riverchase Country Club. The team scored a 305, tying their previous best score of the year. Frankie Wade Jr. lead the way with a 2 under par round of 70, with a birdie on the last hole in some extremely tough conditions. Frankie won the tournament by two strokes and earned himself a spot at Sub-State in Athens, Alabama. Way to go Frankie! Here are the scores for the rest of the team: Tanner Tabor shot a 76, Ryan Kamm shot a 78, Taylor Brown and Christian Gentile both shot rounds of 81. Cam Copeland and Bailey Vance competed in the tournament as individuals, shooting an 82 and a 95.
