Hoover Buccaneers Varsity Grabs Lead In Seventh Inning For Victory Over Vestavia Hills
Hoover Buccaneers Varsity took the lead late in the game in a 3-1 victory over Vestavia Hills on Friday. Hoover Buccaneers Varsity trailed 1-0 in the top of the seventh inning when Drew Guffey singled, driving in two runs.
The pitching was strong on both sides. hurlers for Hoover Buccaneers Varsity struck out five, while Vestavia Hills pitchers sat down seven.
