Home Game Day Information

Special events for this game:

  • Wear orange to ORANGE OUT the Met!
  • This game is a Great American Rivals Game.  Joseph Timpa will be recognized as our Scholar-Athlete prior to kick-off at 6:35 p.m.  Former Buc Mac Hardy and his family will be inducted into the Great American Rivalry Series Hall of Fame at halftime.
  • Patio Party will be held in the Michael Jordan Ballroom from 5:30-6:30 p.m.  Food will be provided by Newks.  Wal-Mart will provide dessert.  Coke will provide drinks.  You must have a patio party ticket for entry.
  • Bonefish, Outback and Carrabas will be at the Met for a special tailgating event Friday from 3:30-6:30 p.m.  The event will take place on the sidewalk in front of the stadium.  They will have games, giveaways, and unbelievable food for you.  This should be an exciting atmosphere for the students.  You will be able to purchase burgers, shrimp, chicken and plenty of their special dishes.  Come help support the Bucs!

Guest Services:

  • ATM is located inside the stadium.
  • No passes out.
  • Umbrellas only allowed if used in upper seats in the section not blocking anyone’s view.
  • No outside food or beverages.

Ticket Information:

  • All employees of Hoover City Schools with an official HCS ID badge are admitted without charge to any extracurricular event sponsored by a Hoover City School.  AHSAA playoff games are excluded.
  • Lifetime memberships from Hoover High School and Spain Park High School will be accepted by any Hoover City School.
  • Student Athletic Passes are available for purchase online at or in the Athletic Office for $60.  These passes allow students entry into any home athletic event for Hoover High School, Bumpus Middle School and Simmons Middle School (does not include jamborees, AHSAA play-off games or tournaments).
  • Pre-sale tickets are available for $7 Monday through Thursday.
  • Game Day tickets are $8 each.

  • Kids 5 and under are admitted free.

Parking Information:

  • Parking is $5.
  • Employees of Hoover High School will not be charged for parking if they have their parking tag hanging in their vehicle.

Directions to the Hoover Met:

  • From I-459
    • From I-459 North:  Take I-459 Exit 10 to Highway 150.
      • Merge right onto HWY 150 at light
      • At the second traffic light turn right onto Stadium Trace Parkway
      • Follow Stadium Trace Parkway for about 2.5 miles and the stadium is on the left
    • From I-459 South:  Take I-459 Exit 10 to Highway 150
      • Turn left at light onto Highway 150
      • Proceed under the interstate to the second traffic light
      • Turn right onto Stadium Trace Parkway
      • Follow Stadium Trace Parkway for 2.5 miles and the stadium is on the left
