The Baltimore Sun pointed out five things learned about the Ravens’ loss to the Jaguars. Point number five is Marlon Humphrey again stood out with his confident style. In the loss, Marlon knocked out the ball of the hands of Marqise Lee as he tried to catch the fade pass from Blake Bortles in the endzone. This would be one of Humphrey’s two pass deflections of the game.
This week the Ravens will host the (2-1) Steelers who are coming off their first loss of the year. The game is set for 12:00.
Marlon was the 16th overall pick in April which is the highest pick for a Hoover alumni. Chad Jackson was selected in the second round (pick no. 36) by the Patriots in 2006. Before Humphrey, Josh Chapman, a fifth round pick in 2012, was the last player from Hoover selected by the Colts.
Good luck this week #29.
