Multiple Teams · Its Humpday: NFL Rookie Season with Marlon Humphrey

The Ravens made a trip across the country as they traveled to Oakland to take on the Raiders.

Ravens top cornerback, Jimmy Smith, played a limited amount of snaps due to an Achilles tendon injury opening the door for more plays for our favorite Raven, Marlon Humphrey. This includes his first-career start in the NFL.

The Hoover alum played 55 snaps (most this season) this past Sunday and coach John Harbaugh told the Baltimore Sun, “Marlon Humphrey stepped up and played so well and that’s why we drafted him, so Marlon played well.” He recorded two solo tackles and assisted on one in the 30-17 win.

Sunday, the Chicago Bears will come to M&T Bank Stadium to take on the Ravens. Kickoff is 12:00.

Ex-Alabama players uphold a strong fraternity in the NFL.Marlon has joined the fraternity as he has played seven Alabama alums in his first five games as a Raven. This week will be another as his rookie counterpart Eddie Jackson will be traveling with the Bears this weekend. He may be in the fraternity, but he is also part of the Buc Nation.

Good luck this week #29!
