Bucs News · Will Reichard- Committed

First of all, I want to the thank the Lord for giving me the opportunity to play the game of football. This game has provided me relationships, opportunities, and memories that will last a lifetime. Secondly, I want to thank my family and friends for supporting me along this journey and believing in me every step of the way. Playing college football has been a dream of mine since I was a little boy, and for my family to give me every opportunity and allow me to live that dream means the world to me. Third, I want to thank all of the kicking coaches I’ve had who instilled a great work ethic in me and developed me into the player I am today. To all of the coaching staff at Hoover, thank you for teaching me to make an impact on others and for giving me the chance to lead at our prestigious program. I’d also like to thank the college coaches that recruited me and offered me a scholarship. All of these schools have fantastic programs, and I will forever be grateful that you believed in me as well. Lastly, I want to thank my dad for everything he did for me while he was on this earth. He recognized my talent at a young age, spent countless hours on the field with me, and pushed me to strive for greatness every day. I strive to make you proud, and this process is something I wish we could have experienced together. This is for you Dad. With all that being said, I would like to announce my commitment to the University of Alabama. I have been praying about this decision since the beginning of recruitment, and I am confident that this is the right place for me and my family. Thank you, Coach Saban and Coach Banks for having confidence in me and for giving me the chance to pursue my dream on the biggest stage in college football. Bama Nation, I promise I will not let you down! I am ready to step up to this challenge and change the culture of kickers at Alabama. Please respect my decision. God Bless and Roll Tide!
