The Hoover Lady Bucs took some time on Tuesday night to volunteer and help the people at the Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham. They were able to take a tour, learn all of the amazing services offered by the Ronald McDonald House, as well as help do some things to assist the staff.
McDonalds will be sponsoring next season’s Big Orange Invitational so it was a great opportunity to give back!
The postseason continues to be good to the Lady Bucs. Jr. Guard Jailyn Maddox and Jr. Forward Kendra Langham were both selected to the AHSAA North-South All-Star teams. Both Jailyn and Kendra will play for the North squad when the two sides face off on July 22nd at 6 PM in Montgomery, on the campus of Alabama State University. They join Sr. Guard and Union University signee Jada Smith as postseason All-Star performers.
Jada represented Hoover in the Annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game on March 20th with 15 points.
We are very proud of the work these two young ladies have put in on and off the basketball court!
