4-Hit Day For Tissier Leads Hoover Varsity Past Central Phenix

Four hits from Abby Tissier helped lead Hoover Varsity past Central Phenix 11-1 on Thursday. Tissier singled in the first, doubled in the second, doubled in the fifth, and singled in the sixth.
An early lead helped propel Hoover Varsity to victory.
Brynn Parker earned the win for Hoover Varsity. She went six innings, allowing one run, six hits, striking out four, and walking one.

Hoover Varsity collected 13 hits. Tissier, Caroline Nichols, and Green each collected multiple hits for Hoover Varsity. Green and Tissier each drove in three runs to lead Hoover Varsity. Mallory Mus also had a homerun.

Hoover Buccaneers Varsity Jumps Out To Early Lead In Victory Over Tuscaloosa County
Hoover Buccaneers Varsity defeated Tuscaloosa County 11-1 thanks to a strong start. Hoover Buccaneers Varsity scored on a double by Nick Davis in the first inning.
Hoover Buccaneers Varsity took an early lead in the first inning. Garrett Farquhar’s sac fly scored one run for Hoover Buccaneers Varsity.
Hoover Buccaneers Varsity scored five runs in the fifth inning. Hoover Buccaneers Varsity’s big inning was driven by a single by Daniel Swatek, a home run by Jacob Kopkin, and a single by Sam Sanford.
Sonny DiChiara earned the win for Hoover Buccaneers Varsity. He tossed two innings, surrendering zero runs, zero hits, striking out one, and walking zero. Three relievers helped Hoover Buccaneers Varsity close out the victory. Will Pratt threw one inning.
Ty Robinson led Hoover Buccaneers Varsity with two hits in three at bats.
The Hoover Bucs will be hosting the first round of the 7A playoffs next Friday night, April 28th, against the Buckhorn Bucks.

Cole Throws Shutout As Hoover Buccaneers Varsity Defeats Tuscaloosa County
Devin Cole didn’t allow a single run as Hoover Buccaneers Varsity defeated Tuscaloosa County 11-0 on Thursday. Cole allowed just two hits.
Garrett Farquhar led Hoover Buccaneers Varsity to victory by driving in four runs. He went 2-for-3 at the plate. Farquhar drove in runs on a home run in the first and a double in the fourth.
Hoover Buccaneers Varsity took an early lead in the first inning. Farquhar homered on a 1-0 count in the first inning, scoring one run.
Hoover Buccaneers Varsity scored eight runs in the fourth inning. Hoover Buccaneers Varsity scored on a double by Farquhar, a walk by CJ Gilliland, a single by Drew Guffey, and a single by Jacob Kopkin.
Devin Cole earned the win for Hoover Buccaneers Varsity. He tossed five innings, surrendering zero runs, two hits, and striking out four.
Home runs for Hoover Buccaneers Varsity came when Brandon Agsalud homered in the second inning and Farquhar homered in the first inning.

Hoover held on for a 5-4 victory over Oakland on Saturday in the championship game.
Madeline Harris earned the win for Hoover Varsity. She pitched three innings, giving up two runs, one hit, and striking out three. #25 took the loss for Oakland. She threw three innings, giving up five runs, two hits, striking out two, and walking one.
Leslie Norris and Caroline Nichols each managed one hit to lead Hoover Varsity.

An early lead helped propel Hoover Buccaneers Varsity to victory. Hoover Buccaneers Varsity scored on a single by Brandon Agsalud, a single by CJ Gilliland, and a single by Ty Robinson in the first inning.
Hoover Buccaneers Varsity captured the lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for Hoover Buccaneers Varsity.
Hoover Buccaneers Varsity scored five runs in the third inning. Hoover Buccaneers Varsity’s big inning was driven by a groundout by Daniel Swatek, a walk , and a double by Tanner Hendrix.
Sonny DiChiara earned the win for Hoover Buccaneers Varsity. He threw two innings, giving up zero runs, zero hits, striking out four, and walking zero. Will Pratt threw one inning, as three relievers helped Hoover Buccaneers Varsity finish off the victory. Shaw Niblett induced a groundout to finish off the game.
