National Latin Exam and State Convention Winners

By J Armstead of Hoover High School The National Latin Exam is a worldwide exam given in March. We just got the results in and had many winners. We participated in the Alabama State Latin convention, where students compete in athletic, academic, and artistic Olympiads. We walked away with five winners. Please congratulate these students.  

Scholars Bowl wins the 2012 ASCA State Academic Championship

Coach Quinn’s Youth Basketball Camp

By J Armstead of Hoover High School Coach Donnie Quinn will host a basketball camp at Hoover High School on May 29-June 1 for boys and girls going into grades 2-8.  The camp will run from 8-11 a.m. each day.  The cost is $80 ($120 for two).  There is a $20 discount for any Hoover teachers.
