Hoover Bucs Freshman Loses Lead Early In Defeat.

Hoover Bucs Freshman watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 3-1 loss to Spain Park on Monday. Spain Park scored on a double by Matthew Widra and a single by Evan Bistritz in the first inning.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Spain Park pitchers struck out two, while Hoover Bucs Freshman sat down three.

Connor Langston was on the mound for Spain Park. He lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and one run while striking out two and walking zero.
