Once again the Bucs were on the road as they traveled to Montgomery to take Trinity High School. The first half saw the Bucs playing slightly better than their host. Their first scoring chance came as Senior forward LeAnna Eubanks attempted to give the Bucs the lead on a one versus one with the goalie. She was unable to finish and had to leave the game injured after clashing with the keeper. The Bucs stepped up and found the back of the net at the 23 minute mark of the game. Senior Midfielder Lauren McEwan made a great pass to Nneka Udeh, who finished the play as the Bucs went ahead 1-0. The lead was short lived as the home team tied the game just four minutes later. The first half would end tied 1-1.
The second half saw Hoover struggling as Trinity began to take control of the game. Senior defender Lauren Flannelly was injured and had to leave the game. The defense finally conceded the second goal as Trinity scored with just seven minutes to go in the game. The Bucs did not give up and battelled back to score the equalizer off a free kick. Senior Captain Briton Slifka found the left corner of the goal with just a minute and half left in the game. The game would end in a 2-2 tie. The Bucs are back in action on Tuesday as they play Altamont.
