Hoover Bucs Varsity had all cylinders firing on offense on Friday, winning big over Florence 11-1
Hoover Bucs Varsity got things moving in the first inning, when Jack Henry Milligan singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.
Hoover Bucs Varsity notched four runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught came from a single by Robby Ashford, a groundout by Peyton Wilson, and a double by Lawrence Hammonds.
Colson Lawrence led the Hoover Bucs Varsity to victory on the hill. He lasted five innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out four and walking one.
Davis Young went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Hoover Bucs Varsity in hits. Hoover Bucs Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Brooks Brymer had five chances in the field, the most on the team.
