2016 Hoover Cheer Youth Clinic

Hoover Cheerleaders will host a Youth Cheer Clinic on October 7th.   The clinic is for girls and boys from K-6th grade.  The cost of the clinic is $45.  Price of registration includes a t-shirt, dinner (pizza) and entry for the participant into the football game.  Check out  HHS Youth Cheer Clinic  for more information.    

Hoover High Cheerleaders Prepare to Leave for Nationals

  Come out this Sunday, January 31st for the cheerleader’s last performance before they leave for Nationals in Orlando. We will perform along with other Over the Mountain schools for our friends and family at 2 p.m. in the Competition Gym at Hoover High School. Come show your support for the cheerleaders! Go Bucs!

Cheerleading Tryout Meeting Information

Anyone interested in trying out for next year’s cheerleading team should attend the pre-tryout meeting on January 27th at 6:45pm in the HHS Cafeteria. All tryout information will be discussed at this meeting.  Contact Coach Freeman at mefreeman@hoover.k12.al.us if you have any questions.

After Game: No Fans on the Field Friday

The Bucs return home Friday night at the Met as they host Thompson. This is Homecoming week for Hoover. In the past, students and fans have been allowed on the field to sing the Alma Mater, but this Friday there will be a new Post Game Procedure. Buc Fan Day at the Galleria

Buc Fan Day is this Sunday, August 16th from 3-4:15 p.m. at the Riverchase Galleria.  Please make plans to come out and help celebrate the upcoming season with the football team, cheerleaders, Buccanettes and band.  Coach Niblett, Athletic Director Andy Urban and Principal Don Hulin will talk about the upcoming season.  We hope to see
