Bucs finish as State Runner-Ups

Tough Loss to Oak Mountain

The Bucs wrestling team took on Oak Mountain on January 16. The wrestlers had a rocky start and never recovered, resulting in a 37-22 loss. Hoover looks to bounce back Thursday night as they host Spain Park.

Winters Dominates On Way To State Title

Senior Bret Winters finished out his season 48-0 on his way claiming the 195 lb state championship. Oak Mountain’s Jaried Buxton stepped on the mat for the third time in the last 3 weeks.
